Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (JINR) organizes the Х Winter School on Theoretical Physics in the framework of the program DIAS-TH in Dubna on 30 January - 6 February 2012,

The 19th International Conference (MCE-2012) "Mathematics. Computer. Education" will be held on 30 January -4 February 2012 in JINR Laboratory of Information Technologies, Dubna.

On January 25, 2012, JINR representatives: Head of the JINR International Cooperation Department D.V. Kamanin and ICD Coordinator of the JINR-ARE cooperation E.V.Pryanichnikova participated in a festive reception arranged by the Egyptian Embassy in Moscow on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the Revolution of the Great People of Egypt celebrated on 25 January.

Professor Hans Volker Klapdor-Kleingrothaus is 70.

Lehmann (PSI, Switzerland) at the FLNP seminar held on the 18th of January, 2012.

The 35^th meeting of the JINR Programme Advisory Committee for Nuclear Physics will be held on 26-27 January 2012 at the Internation Conference Hall.

Subsequent to the discussion of the jury and by the JINR Director’s decree the Award of Academician B.M.Pontecorvo of the year 2011 was granted to Professor Stanley Wojcicki (the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, USA) for his outstanding contribution to development of the MINOS detector, and new results in the fields of particle physics, and, especially in the field of neutrino oscillations.
