Venue: Blokhintsev Hall (4th floor), Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics

Seminar topic: “Superconductivity of strongly correlated electrons in graphene”

Speaker: N. M. Plakida (BLTP)

Abstract:

A microscopic theory of the electronic spectrum and of superconductivity within the t-J model on the honeycomb lattice is developed. Using Hubbard operator technique superconducting transition temperature induced by the exchange interaction J is calculated. At half filling gapless superconductivity of the d-type may emerge for large values of J.
