More details about the invention

The invention belongs to experimental medicine and may be applied in cosmonautics for supporting high level of operator performance of astronauts in the environment of unpredictable radiation exposure as well as for patients’ rehabilitation after proton therapy of brain tumours. After a single uneven proton irradiation at the doze sufficient for causing radiation syndrome, an animal receives intranasal injection of Nasal Drops Semax 0,1%. One drop of Semax is injected in each animal’s nostril 3 times a day from the first to the seventh days after irradiation. This therapy provides preservation of normal orientational and research reaction, emotional state, balance between CNS ignitions and depressions damaged by proton radiation.
