Abstract:
The aims, tasks, and progress of U400M accelerator system upgrade are discussed. The upgrade is in the final stage now. A list of completed works, schedule for their completion, date of the cyclotron startup, as well as the expected characteristics of accelerated heavy ion beams will be presented here.
