Abstract:
The status of construction of the SHINE station for applied research at extracted beams of the VBLHEP JINR accelerator complex is presented. The design of the biological shielding, target station, and control panel of the SHINE station are reported. The detectors of the created diagnostic systems for extracted beams and secondary particles are described. Plans on completion of the construction and commissioning of the SHINE station are discussed. The first experiments and experimental capabilities of the station SHINE are also discussed.
