Аннотация:

The nuclear isospin asymmetry is one of the key quantities that determine the structure of finite nuclei, their stability, and their reaction behavior, in addition to its role in the symmetry and saturation properties of asymmetric nuclear matter from plasma to neutron stars. In particular, it affects the partial lifetimes of heavy nuclei against the different decay modes such as alpha, beta, and cluster decays. Moreover, the isospin asymmetry of finite nuclei and its related proton and neutron skin thickness play an important role in the reactions cross section and reaction rate. It is also determines the allowed maximum isospin asymmetry value for bound nuclear matter. Exploring the role of the isospin-asymmetry in different nuclear phenomena helps to shed light on the systematic behavior of the associated nuclear properties and to probe the proton and neutron shell closures, and to investigate the responsibility of the spin-isospin interaction for the shell gaps indicated at certain proton and neutron numbers.
