Seminar topic: “High-K state in transfermium nuclei by the PNC-CSM method”
Speaker: Xiao-Tao He (College of Materials Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics)
High-K multi-particle state in transfermium nuclei are studied systematically by a shell model like approach, i. e. particle-number conserving method within the framework of Cranking Shell Model (PNC-CSM). High-order deformation ε6 plays an important role both in the single-particle orbitals and in the multi-particle states of the transfermium mass region. Particular emphasis will be placed on the newly obtained Nilsson parameters set of κ μ and their effect on the nuclear shell gap.
