Energy and angular distributions of the long-range fragments produced in the spontaneous ternary fission are sensitive to the decay width. This can be used for studies of the short living isotopes, ⁷Н, ^5,7He. The decay widths available for this method measurements spreads from tens of keV to a MeV. The calculations of the energy and angular distributions are performed in the quasi-classical trajectory approach using the Monte-Karlo method.
