Abstract:
The seminar is dedicated to the magnet system design and beam dynamics of an 11 MeV superconducting cyclotron and its upgrade to 18 MeV extraction energy for producing more types of isotopes. This is a three-spiral-sector compact cyclotron. The topics of the presentation are: magnet system design, central region configuration, extraction system, and cyclotron upgrade.
