Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions
Joint Laboratory Seminar
Date and time: Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at 3:00 PM
Venue: Conference Hall, Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions
Seminar topic: “Correlations in multinucleon transfer reactions”
Speaker: Jesus Lubian Rios (Federal Flumnense University, Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
The seminar presents recent results on the effect of nucleon correlations in the two-particle transfer reactions concerning the two-neutron, two-proton, and proton-neutron (deuteron) transfer reactions. The goal is to show the symmetries of the two-body nuclear interactions. The study is extended to multinuclear transfer reactions, considering up to four nucleons, with a particular emphasis on the 3He, 3H, and alpha transfer reactions. Some possible applications to heavier cluster transfers, such as the 6Li transfer reactions, are also illustrated. It is shown how the correct inclusion of the structure on the nuclei can influence the cross-section of different nuclear reactions, especially in the case of the nuclei formed by a “conglomerate of alpha particles”.
