Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics

Seminar “Theory of hadronic matter under extreme conditions”

Date and Time: Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at 16:00

Venue: Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, online on Zoom

Seminar topic: “Fermion propagator in a rotating environment”

Speaker: José Jorge Medina Serna (National Autonomous University of Mexico)

Abstract:

We study the propagation of Dirac fermions in a rigidly rotating coordinate system using the Fock-Schwinger method. In momentum space, the propagator resembles the vacuum form but with a shifted energy and spin projection operators that select the two helicity states aligned or anti-aligned with the rotation axis.
