The nuclear ground-state and β-decay properties of even-even 20−30Ne isotopes were investigated using the Relativistic Mean Field (RMF) model and the proton-neutron Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation (pn-QRPA). The RMF framework, employing the DDPC1 and DDME2 interactions, was used to compute the potential energy surfaces, neutron separation energies (Sn, S2n), nuclear ground-state deformation parameters (β2), neutron and proton radii (Rn, Rp), charge radii (Rc), and neutron skin thickness (Rnp). The pn-QRPA utilised β2 values obtained from the RMF calculations as input parameters to compute β-decay properties, including Gamow-Teller strength distributions, log ft values, half-lives, and weak interaction rates in stellar environment for the even- even 20−30Ne isotopes. The calculated log ft values showed good agreement with the available experimental data. Furthermore, the predicted β-decay half-lives were found to be consistent with the measured values. To achieve a deeper understanding of nucleosynthesis processes in Novae environments, stellar weak interaction rates were also investigated and analysed.
