VBLHEP Scientific and Methodical Seminar #4

Date and Time: Thursday, 14 March 2019, at 11:00 AM

Venue: bld. 215, room 347, Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics

  1. Seminar topic: «Low and High Voltage Power Supplies for Detectors and Detector Readout Systems»

Speaker: Thomas Berner (Sales Manager, WIENER Power Electronics GmbH, Germany)

    Abstract:

The modular power supplies developed and produced by WIENER Power Electronics GmbH and ISEG Spezialelektronik GmbH and designed for applications in high energy and nuclear physics will be presented. The talk will focus on multichannel, low and high power supplies with output voltages from a few volts up to 100 kV and power ratings from a few wattsup to 10 kW with exceptional low noise & ripple, high stability and easy remote control functions. A detailed discussion of the MMS Mpod power supply system with MPV series low voltage and EHS series high voltage modules will be included. Other products of WIENER like powered crates and other series of ISEG products can be covered upon request.

  2. Seminar topic: «Trigger system of the BM@N and SRC experiments. Design of the level 0 trigger of the MPD experiment. Report in results of work for 5 years»

    Speaker: Sergey V. Sergeev (VBLHEP)
