Аннотация:
In this talk we discuss configurations of open and closed strings in 5-dimensional Kerr-AdS black holes. We consider the motion of an open string which one endpoint is attached to the AdS boundary. In this case a string motion can be related to the dynamics of a heavy quark in a rotating quark-gluon plasma.
We show the holographic calculation of a drag force that affects on the quark. Another configuration is a pulsating string in Kerr-AdS_{5}, that is a circular closed string. It is of our interest in connection with integrable systems and calculations of anomalous dimensions of corresponding dual gauge operators.
