Аннотация:

The main objective of the talk is the discussion of recent results on derivation of more stringent upper limits on the observables of the CP-violated two-pion decays of eta and eta’ mesons from neutron EDM. Due to Standard Model can not set up stronger bounds on these rare processes, their study could shed a light on the manifestation of New Physics (new gauge bosons, axions, dark matter portal, etc.). From another hand, investigation of rare decays eta and eta’ mesons is motivated by planning experiment by the GlueX Collaboration at the Jefferson Lab Eta Factory (USA).
In present work, the observables of eta/eta’ rare decays are related to electric dipole moments (EDMs) of nucleons and deuteron. Using ChPT+phenomenological η(η’)ππ couplings, we generate two-loop level contributions to the EMDs of nucleons. Next, we extend our analysis on the deuteron EDM, which also gives independent limits on the CP-violated couplings of η(η’) to pions. From the numerical analysis of the hadronic EDMs we derive limits to the CP-violating η(η’)-pion couplings and corresponding decay rates, QCD theta parameter. Finally, plans for future work are highlighted.
