Today, on 26 February 2016, we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Academician Alexander Mikhailovich Baldin, an outstanding physicist who had headed the Laboratory of High Energies of JINR for about 30 years. A Scientific Seminar, which opens in the conference hall of VBLHEP, is dedicated to the Anniversary. The special issue of the JINR newspaper, which has been prepared for the Anniversary, contains autobiographical materials and memories of scientists who worked with A.M.Baldin.
