Abstract:

Analyzing experimental data by the NA61/SHINE collaboration on nucleus-nucleus interactions at energies 5.1, 6.1, 7.6, 8.8, 11.9 and 16.8 GeV (Li-7 + Li-9 and Ar-40 + Sc-45) within the Geant4 FTF (Fritiof) model, we have found that FTF model well describes the experimental data at energies below 10 GeV. At higher energies the model underestimates π+, π, K+ and K mesons production, because quark-gluon plasma (QGP) creation is not included in FTF model. A good description of proton spectra is reached for the first time. Some disagreements between our calculation and the experimental data can be explained by an inaccuracy of the data. Earlier, it was found by the NA49 collaboration that the transition to QGP take place at energy about 7 GeV. The old question of the Fritiof model on excitation of projectile hadrons in multi-particle interactions is solved.
