On Thursday, 11 February 2021, at 3:00 PM, the Laboratory of Radiation Biology will hold a biophysical seminar. LRB Director Doctor of Physics and Mathematics A. N. Bugay will present the programme of innovative radiobiological studies of JINR.
The speaker will present the international programme of radiobiological studies being formed by the Laboratory of Radiation Biology in the frames of the project of a JINR innovation centre at accelerators of the Institute and its Member States. The programme covers two basic realms: medical biology and brain studies. Their tasks include the development of new approaches for increasing efficiency of X-Ray and radionuclide therapies, as well as research on mechanisms of radiation-induced violations in the central nervous system.
