Anniversary exhibition “Beloved city” by Yuri Meshenkov

From 3 to 20 February, the anniversary exhibition “Beloved city” by the chief artist of JINR Yuri Meshenkov will be held in the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir”.

An opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place on 2 February, on Wednesday, at 5:00 PM.

Yuri Meshenkov was born in 1937 in Yakhroma, Moscow region. In 1956, he graduated from the Fedoskin Art and Industrial College, in 1972, the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Since 1960, he has been living and working in Dubna. As the chief artist of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, he designs photo exhibitions, prepares books, booklets, posters, banners, postcards, badges, and other souvenirs for publication. Yuri Meshenkov is a member of the Union of Russian Artists, the author of the coat of arms of Dubna.

The exhibition will be available daily from 1:00 to 7:00 PM in the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” at the address: 1, Vysotsky Alley. Admission is free.
