On 10 June 2026, at 16:00, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6 Joliot-Curie St, left side).
Sector Head at the FLNR Nanocentre Ilya Vinogradov will deliver a presentation “Track membrane innovations: from precision filtration to smart materials”.
The talk will be devoted to applied applicated track membrane innovations aimed at solving real-world problems in life sciences and other fields. The speaker will discuss how they are used in water treatment, desalination, selective ion separation, highly sensitive analysis of heavy ions in aqueous media, the creation of laboratory bioreactors and Transwell systems for cell studies, medical diagnostics, and enclosed ventilation of electronics. Special attention will be paid to how laboratory prototypes turn into real devices on real examples of prototypes becoming commercially in-demand products on the Russian market.
