On 13 May 2026, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6 Joliot-Curie St, left side).
A neurologist at Medical Unit No. 9 Anastasia Karulina will deliver a presentation “Early diagnosis, prevention, and modification of the course of neurodegenerative diseases”.
The speaker will discuss ultra-sensitive methods for early diagnosis and selective targeting of misfolded proteins in neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease).
The seminar is part of the “Young scientists – young doctors” project, which aims to develop professional collaboration between young specialists from the Medical Unit No. 9 and young JINR scientists, fostering research-oriented clinical practice and promising interdisciplinary cooperation.
