AYSS seminar at JINR Scientists’ Club

On 14 February 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

A DLNP JINR researcher Vladislav Rozhkov will deliver his lecture “Legends and myths of medical physics.”

What is the difference between CT, SPECT, MRI, and PET? What is the connection between Nikola Tesla and X-rays? How can a recording studio engineer win a Nobel Prize? How will medical diagnosis change in 50 years? The speaker will answer these and many other questions.

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
