AYSS seminar at JINR Scientists’ Club

On 21 February 2024, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Head of the Hadron Structure Sector of the Scientific Department of the Theory of Fundamental Interactions at BLTP at JINR Andrey Arbuzov will deliver his lecture “Problems and challenges of modern fundamental physics.”

The speaker will review the problems of modern theoretical physics and briefly describe the current status of research into the Standard Model, general relativity, and cosmology. The seminar will focus on the challenges that modern fundamental physics faces and how theorists are responding to them.

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
