On 31 May 2023, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites you to the next seminar that will take place at the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Anton Dolzhikov (a DLNP researcher) will make a report “³He/⁴He dilution refrigerator, a device for obtaining low temperatures (T<0.3K)".

Anton speaks about the seminar, “We will start with a brief overview of the history of obtaining low temperatures. Then we will proceed to the consideration of the principle of operation of Не-3/Не-4 dilution refrigerators, a description of the design and applications of facilities created in the DLNP low temperature sector. In conclusion, we will consider the current state of affairs in this area and possible prospects for further development”.

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
