Concert “Georgian polyphony”

The JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” invites to the concert “Georgian polyphony” on 18 January 2018, at 7:00 PM. The concert will be performed by Keti Gabisiani and “Theatrical quartet”.

The programme of the concert includes lyrical songs, ballads and folk songs.

Tbilisi “Theatrical quartet” participants have brilliant voices, they are real professionals with longstanding experience and amazing sense of humour. In the remote 2002, Oto, Koba and Lasha, the then students of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University, started a new band. The trio was supported by Dato Archvadze, the soloist of the famous Georgian ensemble “Kartuli Khmebi”, who subsequently became the band’s leader. Later, Irakli joined the group, and thus, the final line up of “Theatrical quartet” was composed the name of which was taken at the theatrical scene.
However, “Theatrical quartet” gives regular performances jointly with Keti Gabisiani besides only male vocal programmes. Keti Gabisiani is a composer, singer with open heart and impressive amount of awards, teacher, musical director of numerous TV programmes, author of hits written for best voices of Georgia.
