First archival school and laboratory at JINR invites applications

From 6 to 12 July 2025, the first Archival Pulse summer school and laboratory will take place at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The project is focused on practical training of young specialists for work with historical archives in scientific organizations. The school is organized by JINR, the Higher School of Economics (HSE, Russia), and the Archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ARAN). Registration is available until 15 June.
The programme includes:
- practical classes and workshops;
- lectures on the history of science and technology (techno-futurism, atomic architecture, and much more);
- meetings and discussions with specialists of the Joint Institute.
The school invites students and postgraduates interested in researching and preserving documentary scientific legacy. The archival skills and competencies acquired by the participants can be applied both in research and in the organization of exhibition projects and other cultural initiatives.
Applications for the Archival Pulse school are accepted until 15 June. The number of participants is limited. More details are available via the link on the event’s website.
