Abstract:

In order to carry out data analysis in the MPD, it is necessary to know how to use the framework and create Monte Carlo events that mimic real data collisions in the experiment. The generation of the underlying physics events, the particle transport and calculation of the energy deposits in the detector, digitization of the energy deposits and finally the reconstruction of the event are required for that. These tasks are performed by MpdRoot framework. The workshop will provide an overview of the MpdRoot framework and promote the experience of students that participate in the START summer programme.
