Guttenberg’s Smoking Room meeting

“Guttenberg’s Smoking Room” is the format of meetings for a wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.
This time, the following books will be presented:
- “Unnoticed generation”, Vladimir Varshavsky. Presentation by Ilya Gapienko.
- “History of beauty: the body and the art of embellishment from the Renaissance to nowadays”, Georges Vigarello. Presentation by Arina Kuznetsova.
- “What is ice silent about? About the life and career of a great coach,” Alexey Mishin. Presentation by Ekaterina Korneeva.
- “Was Stalin Necessary for Russia’s Economic Development?”, Anton Cheremukhin, Mikhail Golosov, Sergei Guriev, Aleh Tsyvinski. Presentation by Viktor Kalitvyansky.
Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
