Guttenberg’s Smoking Room meeting

Guttenberg’s Smoking Room is the format of meetings for a wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.
This time, the following books will be presented:
- “The Birth of the state: Muscovite Rus in the 15th and 16th centuries”, Mikhail Krom. Presentation by Ilya Gapienko.
- “Sherlock Holmes’ Medical Notes. How people were sick, treated, and died in the Victorian era”, Nick Howlett. Presentation by Elena Lev.
- “The Revolution Betrayed: What is the Soviet Union and Where is it Going?”, Leon Trotsky. Presentation by Victor Kalitvyansky.
Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
