Guttenberg’s Smoking Room meeting

Guttenberg’s Smoking Room is the format of meetings for a wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.
This time, the following books will be presented:
- “Icon and Square. Russian Modernism and Russian-Byzantine Renaissance”, Maria Tarutina. Presentation by Ilya Gapienko.
- “Cartesian lingiustics. A Chapter in the History of Rationalist Thought”, Noam Chomsky. Presentation by Egor Dydyshko.
- “The Outlaw Ocean: Crime and Survival in the Last Untamed Frontier”, Ian Urbina. Presentation by Ekaterina Korneeva.
- «Monkeyluv: And Other Essays on Our Lives as Animals», Robert Sapolsky. Presentation by Iulia Popova.
Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
