“The Double Life of Veronique” (1991): Polish choir soprano, Weronika, has a double. She is Véronique, a French music teacher. They have no blood relation and lead very different lives but are otherwise identical: sharing a sublime gift for singing, a cardiac disorder, and a mystical awareness of each other’s existence.
