LCTA Impulse Epoch exhibition

From 17 September to 14 October 2026, the JINR Mir Cultural Centre invites everyone interested to the LCTA Impulse Epoch exhibition marking the 60th anniversary of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies.

On display will be the 1963–1988 Impulse wall newspapers reflecting the Laboratory’s research and social life. Its vibrant literary style, sharp humour, and notes on the events of those years make Impulse a veritable quarter-century chronicle of LCTA.

In addition, visitors will see materials about the Laboratory’s founding fathers, learn about the history of computing at JINR, and explore that era’s printed publications devoted to programming and information system development.

The exhibition will be available until the end of October. It is open every day except Monday, from 13:00 to 19:00. In addition, from 29 September to 28 October, the Museum of the History of Science and Technology will organize six tours of the exhibition, which can be booked here. Admission to all events is free.
