The JINR Universal Public Library invites everyone interested to the “Between objective reality and social construct: the philosophical status of scientific knowledge” lecture.

Some viewpoints in philosophical discourses on science (social constructivism, relativism, etc.) provoke heated debate in the research community. The lecturer – Polina Petrukhina, a philosopher, scientist, and junior researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy at Lomonosov Moscow State University – suggests trying to figure out:
- What is problematic about these ideas?
- How can we think about and talk about science differently without discrediting it?
