On Thursday, 23 April 2026, at 6:00 PM, the JINR Scientists’ Club invites everyone interested to the lecture entitled “Temple for atom smashers. CERN in the 1950s”.
The speaker is Deputy Head of the DLNP JINR Experimental Department of Colliding Beams Alexey Zhemchugov.
The event opens the Meridian of Interaction lecture series dedicated to the historical and archival exhibition titled “The first star: the birth of a new interaction” at the Mir Cultural Centre. The JINR Scientists’ Club will host the lectures from April to July.
