From 1 to 19 April 2024, the JINR Science and Technology Library invites visitors to the New Book Acquisitions exhibition.

The exhibition presents books on a wide range of subjects:

  • the Riemann hypothesis, the greatest mystery of mathematics;
  • equations of mathematical physics;
  • physics of nuclear reactors;
  • classical gauge fields;
  • wave mechanics;
  • crystal physics;
  • philosophical problems of modern fundamental physics of the 21st century.

In particular, a collection of scientific and memoir articles by JINR researcher, Doctor of Sciences Vladimir I. Komarov, “Physics in the circle of friends and colleagues”, will be presented. The book is dedicated to the physicists of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems at JINR, with whom the author had the opportunity to communicate and work for more than 65 years. The collection starts with an article on the launch of the first Dubna accelerator and ends with a discussion of one of the crucial contemporary problems. A brief scientific biography of the author and the list of his publications offer an insight into the physics tasks carried by the author, his friends, and colleagues.

A complete bibliography can be found on the S&T Library website in the New Acquisitions. Books section.
