Mohamed Salah "Determination of the elemental composition of different environmental samples from Egypt by means of neutron activation analysis"

Abstract

Instrumental neutron activation analysis was used to study the contamination level caused by Abu Zabal Company for fertilizers and chemical industries on the agricultural land and the residential area and the Nile river of Abu-Zabal city. And determined the elemental analysis for the plant samples which collected along 2000 m with separation 200 m for each surrounding the cite under investigation and also collect 2 samples away from the both sides of the company by 6000 m. And also determined the natural radioactive elements present in the samples from U-238, Th-232 and K-40 to study for quality control for the hazards of fertilizer companies in Egypt.
