On 16 September 2026, at 19:00, the JINR Mir Cultural Centre invites everyone interested to the lecture entitled “Sea enigmas. Dive into the world of orcas”.
How complex is the social structure of orcas? What hunting tactics do they use? Are orcas really smarter than humans? What do we have in common? Marine biologist, expedition guide Anna Astafurova will answer these and other questions. Other topics will include orca observations around the world, their study in the Far East, and common myths.
