The Spanish speaking club Ñ is working at the Blokhintsev Library of JINR.
The club invites you to meet with a physicist, professor of the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics (PAS) David Edwin Álvarez-Castillo (Mexico). David is on the secondment at the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics JINR.
The meeting’s topic: “Mexico: customs, traditions, and pre-Hispanic astronomy”/”México: costumbres, tradiciones y astronomía prehispánica”
David Edwin Álvarez-Castillo se dedica al estudio de la ecuación de estado de las estrellas compactas y los rayos cósmicos. Es colaborador del ОИЯИ en el Laboratorio de Física Teórica y actualmente es profesor del Instituto de Física Nuclear de Cracovia.
The working language is only Spanish. But if participants do not understand anything, the club hosts Marina Mischenko and Katerin Shachter will help with translation.
Admission is free.
