The JINR Scientists’ Club invites to visit the exhibition “Siena at the Dawn of the Renaissance” at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (works from the National Pinacoteca in Siena, museums of Tuscany).

The trip will take place on 11 September 2021.

The new exhibition project of the Pushkin Museum will acquaint with the art of painters who worked in the XIII-XV centuries in Siena – one of the leading art centres of that time. In Russia, such an exhibition is held for the first time; the works presented have a special value and leave the walls of their native museums only in exceptional cases. It is also possible to visit the exhibition “Muses of Montparnasse”, which takes place in the nearby Gallery of European and American Art.

It is necessary to buy tickets for the exhibitions independently on the Museum’s website (for 11 September – sessions 11:00 AM-12:30 PM) after making an appointment for travel by phone +7 (916) 601-74-97.
