From 2 to 8 August 2026, from 13:00 to 17:30, the JINR Universal Public Library invites teens from 14 to 18 to the theatrical and journalistic workshop entitled “How do we live with science?”.
Participants will learn a visual code of Dubna, talk to city residents about their attitude towards science, and reflect what it’s like to live surrounded by streets and monuments dedicated to scientists. In the final forum-play, participants will demonstrate the conflicts and issues that arise among residents of the science city, non-scientists, and how teenagers deal with them.
The event is hosted by Nastya Antonova, cultural mediator, curator of creative and educational projects, coordinator and facilitator of the Seasons of participatory design, director of the Disciplic Metacognitive Laboratory at the Summer School 2025.
