The JINR student programme was launched in 2014. Since 2022, the programme has been called START – STudent Advanced Research Training at JINR.
Natural science, engineering, and IT students from all over the world – including undergraduates who finished their junior year, as well as master’s and first-year postgraduate students – are kindly invited.
The selected students will spend six to eight weeks solving real scientific and engineering problems at JINR under the supervision of the Institute’s leading specialists. The internship provides an opportunity to find a scientific supervisor for a future bachelor’s or master’s qualifying paper or candidate’s dissertation and increases the participants’ chances of becoming part of the JINR large international team.
Participation requirements:
- registering at start.jinr.ru;
- applying to participate in a START session;
- undergoing the selection process;
- publishing a report on the programme website upon completing the session.
