Natural Science Review Journal
Natural Science Review is an international peer-reviewed online journal in the field of natural and technical sciences. It is an open-access publication, free for publishing and reading, created on the principle of “by scientists, for scientists.”
It is important to us that the achievements of modern science become accessible to any scientist from any country in the world. We believe that the financial capabilities of an individual specialist or research center should not become a barrier to conducting research, and the experience of the global scientific community can and should serve as a starting point for the birth of original ideas and innovative solutions to fundamental questions.
The authors of the Natural Science Review journal will be those who lay the foundation of publicly accessible, high-quality knowledge for the development of future science.
The journal’s scope covers a wide range of natural and technical sciences: physics, chemistry, mathematical and computer sciences, Earth and environmental sciences, life sciences, as well as interdisciplinary and applied research.
Natural Science Review is published quarterly in English, exclusively in electronic format on the website nsr.jinr.int.
We use the “continuous publication” model: articles are posted on the journal’s website immediately after scientific and literary editing. Any necessary accompanying materials (databases, software packages, translations of the article into other languages, etc.) can be placed on the journal’s website.
The editorial board, led by the Editor-in-Chief, Scientific Director of JINR, Academician RAS Victor Matveev, consists of leading specialists in the field of natural sciences. As the publication topics expand, the journal’s editorial board will be replenished. Thorough peer-review of manuscripts guarantees the quality of the published material.
An article published in the Natural Science Review journal can be counted by the JINR Dissertation Councils as one of the three mandatory publications required for defending a candidate of sciences (PhD) dissertation.
Strategic management of the journal is carried out by the International Scientific Editorial Board, which includes prominent scientists from around the world. The Board is headed by the Director of JINR, Academician of RAS Grigory Trubnikov, and the Scientific Leader of the JINR Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, Academician of RAS Yuri Oganessian.
Natural Science Review has been published since 2024 in accordance with the decision of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR Member States dated March 24, 2024.
The founder and publisher is the international intergovernmental organization Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

Physics of Particles and Nuclei (PEPAN)
The scientific review journal “Physics of Particles and Nuclei” (ЭЧАЯ) has been published by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research since 1970.
The published reviews reflect current problems in theoretical and experimental physics of elementary particles and atomic nuclei, condensed matter physics, and address issues of creating new accelerators and experimental facilities, automation of experimental data processing, ecology, and radiobiology.
The journal Physics of Particles and Nuclei is translated and published in English by the Pleiades Publishing Group.
The journal’s editorial board invites scientists from JINR member states and other countries around the world to collaborate with the journal.

Physics of Particles and Nuclei Letters
“Letters to the journal ‘Physics of Particles and Nuclei'”, abbreviated as “Physics of Particles and Nuclei Letters”, publishes articles containing the results of original theoretical, experimental, scientific-technical, methodological, and applied research.The content of the published articles is determined by the scope of scientific research at JINR: theoretical physics, elementary particle physics, relativistic nuclear physics, atomic nuclear physics and related issues of general physics, neutron physics, condensed matter physics, low-temperature physics and cryogenic engineering, accelerator physics and technology, methods of physical experiment, computer technologies in physics, applied work in all the listed fields of physics, including radiobiology, ecology, and nuclear medicine.
