Seminar topic: “Radiative Corrections for Lepton Collider Experiments with Polarized Beams”

Speaker: Vitaly Yermolchyk

Abstract:

Experiments with polarized high-energy electron-positron beams are being actively developed. In addition, projects with one or two polarized muon beams have been proposed. The paper presents the calculation of electroweak corrections for muon-electron scattering and the Moeller process (including the muon-muon scattering variant). Taking into account the planned accuracy of the experiments, the mass of leptons is kept in the calculations. The results can also be useful in experiments at low energies. Considering the e+e-→HZ process, electroweak corrections of higher orders were taken into account. The results of theoretical calculations are implemented in the form of the ReneSANCe Monte Carlo generator.
