Representatives of Russian scientific organizations as well as undergraduates and postgraduates are invited to participate in the 6th all-Russian scientific and practical conference titled “Tasks and methods of neutron research of condensed matter”, which will take place at Dubna State University on 23–26 November 2026. The event is organized in a hybrid format jointly with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

Participants will discuss the latest achievements in the theory of neutron radiation interaction with matter, experimental design in neutron research, fundamental research with neutrons, studies of crystalline and magnetic structures, dynamic properties and elementary excitations in condensed matter, the study of biological systems, and cultural heritage sites.

Conference topics:

  • condensed matter studies using neutron scattering;
  • development and modelling of neutron scattering stations;
  • neutron radiation detectors;
  • detector electronics;
  • experimental design in neutron studies;
  • automation and processing of experimental data;
  • life sciences.

The programme includes a poster session.

The conference is organized by Dubna University in cooperation with Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Konstantinov Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INR RAS), Mikheev Institute of Metal Physics of the Ural Branch of RAS. The programme committee includes JINR scientists.

To participate in the conference, please register via the link on the event’s website until 5 November. Abstracts of the participants’ talks will be published as a conference collection indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index.
