On 21 October 2026, at 16:00, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6 Joliot-Curie St, left side).
BLTP researcher Ravil Iakhibbaev will deliver a presentation “Tour of the quantised fields theory”.
Quantum field theory is one of the pillars of modern physics, finding application in many areas of theoretical physics. At the seminar, participants will become familiar with the basics of quantised fields theory on the example of quantum electrodynamics, the nature of divergences, and the theory of renormalisation. The speaker will pay special attention to the renormalisation group method and its applications.
