On-site assembling and testing of bypasses, i.e. vacuumized bypass nodes with cryogenic and current communications of the beam extraction from the Booster, are underway at the beam extraction area from the Booster to the Nuclotron accelerator.
At the moment, installation of elements of the fast extraction system of the beam from the Booster of the NICA complex is being completed. In addition to the employees of the Laboratory of High Energy Physics, colleagues from the Institute of Nuclear Physics (Novosibirsk), the developers of this unique equipment, are engaged in these activities.
