“Guttenberg’s Smoking Room” meeting

“Guttenberg’s Smoking Room” is the format of meetings for wide audience at which participants retell non-fiction books: documentaries or science-popular books on any knowledge field (except for religion, esotery, and politics). After each retelling, the audience may ask questions and make comments.
This time, the following books will be presented:
- “Defying Hitler: A Memoir”, Sebastian Haffner. Maria Pilipenko will present.
- “Why the West Rules — For Now”, Ian Morris. Viktor Kalitviansky will present.
- “Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams”, Matthew Walker. Martin Buresh will present.
- Review of books on running: do these books help to run? Marina Gulina will present.
Tea and discussions will entertain participants between reports.
