On 17 September 2020, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research celebrated the 110th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Grigorievich Meshcheryakov, an outstanding experimental physicist and a talented science organizer, a laureate of the USSR state prizes, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
After laying flowers to the monument of M. G. Meshcheryakov, a memorial seminar was held. In honour of the memorable date, the JINR Scientific Information Department in cooperation with the Laboratory of Information Technologies JINR issued a commemorative booklet dedicated to Mikhail Grigorievich Meshcheryakov and the book-album “Mikhail Grigorievich Meshcheryakov. Portrait against the background of an epoch”.
