News, 23 August 2017

The 18th Lomonosov Conference on Elementary Particle Physics will start tommorow, on 24 August 2017 in the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The series of the Lomonosov Conferences started to be held on a regular basis in the year 1992, and since 1993 the conferences have been organized each odd year. The 18th Lomonosov Conference is dedicated to the 25th anniversary since foundation of this series of events.

The Conference is organized by the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in cooperation with the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Interregional Centre for Advanced Studies, and the Bruno Pontecorvo Neutrino and Astrophysics Laboratory (MSU).

The Lomonosov Conferences bring together about 300 theorists and experimentalists to review the present status and future prospects in elementary particle physics. The programme of the 18th Lomonosov Conference includes the following topics: Electroweak Theory, Tests of Standard Model and Beyond, Neutrino Physics, Astroparticle Physics, Gravitation and Cosmology, Developments in QCD (Perturbative and Non-Perturbative Effects), Heavy Quark Physics, Physics at Present and Future Accelerators.
