School Students from St. Petersburg in JINR

On April 25, 2016 a group of school students from Moscow School No. 1212 arrived at JINR, where they visited the Laboratory of High Energy Physics and the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems.

During the visit a VBLHEP researcher D.Dryablov delivered an introductory lecture on Dubna city, JINR and the VBLHEP fields of research. O.Kunchenko, a specialist of the Research and Experimental Department of superconducting magnets and technologies told the students about the Synchrophasotron and Nuclotron accelerators, and also showed them the hall where they built and test magnets for the NICA collider.

Afterwards, the guests visited the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems, where the researcher N.Anfimov gave a short talk on the neutrino experiments and showed them the control room of the NOvA Neutrino Accelerating complex, as well as the Photo detector testing lab.
